EVERY cast iron aficionado needs a few "gem" pans or cornbread pans in their collection, but not many can say they have one of these in theirs. This Lodge made cornbread gem pan is a wonderful gift idea or a MUST have for the off beat collector. Almost every vintage foundry made some form of the Corn Stick Pan, and Lodge made the traditional as well as the "controversial". This Lodge "California Acorn" gem pan has many nicknames based on its design so we'll just leave it up to you to google them if you so desire. We talk in our blogs about why certain pieces are so much compared to others. And this one, being made in very limited production (likely for the reasons you just googled, lol...) is a tough one to source. As a matter of fact, its the first we've sold.
