If you‘re a collector or area history buff, and you haven‘t tried cooking with a pan made by Chicago Hardware Foundry, you are missing out! CHF has just about the coolest story we‘ve come across in our education in cast iron cookware. They were only around for a brief period of time and in the depression era, they were ultimately closed down after a complete loss from a fire, believed to be set by protesting workers on strike. The name Chicago Hardware would continue on, but the pans made during these years, the diamond pattern logo are the earliest of the series‘. Thanks for looking!
