Super hard to find!! Gorgeous 1920's Griswold's Victor #5 Skillet with Heat Ring, Fully Marked, 695.
Wow what a tough one to find...especially in good shape. For reference, besides the one we have for our set, this is the only other one we have made available. This came from a large collection of Griswold, including an entire set of Victors.
We LOVE the Griswold line of Victor skillets for so many reasons! The fully marked version you see here was made in 5 through 9, with the 5 being almost impossible to find, and the 6 not far behind. They handle well, are light as can be for a cast iron pan, and they have the Griswold touch for finish and design. THIS beauty is in fantastic shape with a small area of micropitting, but it sits flat! Victor skillets were made as an off-brand skillet or "price fighter" in the 1920s, but for what it‘s worth, these pieces rival the block and slant logo skillets with ease. They are slightly more shallow than the block logo skillets. We have a few versions available, but this one in particular is fully marked. If you‘re a collector and haven‘t tried a Victor, now is the time and this is the one!
