So what exactly is a "P Pan"? You‘ll hear and see this term often when searching for vintage and antique cast iron because for all intents and purposes, many foundries back in the early 1900‘s were local producers for folks within an easy travel distance. Think about it, before there were malls, and Amazon and Etsy, you bought what was produced close to you! So there were countless small foundries across the United States that would pour cast iron pieces so folks could cook with them. Many patterns were too expensive or impossible to get, so many productions from those times had not logo‘s, no markings to trace them, and many were reproduced using an original skillet, so the reproductions are slightly smaller than their models.
This #7 pan looks, handles and cooks JUST like the earliest Lodge raised number skillets and serves as a WONDERFUL addition to your kitchen. It‘s VERY close to the Lodge original but is slightly smaller than the single notch Lodge, and it has a clear "P" marking. We see these in sizes 3 - 8. It sits FLAT and does not spin, and its fully restored by us and seasoned with our oil mix. Dont mistake its cost for lack of quality. Its a fantastic one to own!

from 367 reviewsI have been a Griswold collector for 20 + years. Always looking for a piece to add to my cookware cast iron. I don’t hang my pieces I use them daily. I picked up two pieces of Griswold cast iron specifically for breakfast dishes for myself. Couldn’t be more pleased with the seasoning and quality of the pieces and how accurate the item descriptions were. Not to mention the prices were exceptional for the quality. Take a gamble with EBay or get what you wanted from Cast & Clara Bell.
After going back and forth between a brand new cast iron skillet and a vintage piece, I finally decided on a Wagner from Cast and Clara Bell. I love the skillet. It’s a beautiful piece. It shipped quickly and arrived packed so securely. I absolutely cannot wait to use it daily and have a quality piece I can hand down to my daughter someday. I will definitely be purchasing more.
I’ve bought 5 pieces from Cast and Clarabell and show them off to anyone that will give me the time of day. They are all heirloom pieces that I expect my grandchildren to brag about like I brag about my grandmother’s skillet I have.
I bought a number seven Griswold pan, when I received it, it was well packaged and in great condition.
I gave it an additional two seasonings with grapeseed oil, and this thing is better than a Teflon pan as far as nonstick goes. I have several cast-iron pans, and this one is my favorite. Thanks to the casting Clara team for doing great work. I added a number seven lead that I already had to it.
I ordered an absolutely gorgeous Wagner "golf ball" brownie pan and it arrived beautifully restored and very well packaged. Before ordering, I had a question and received a prompt answer. You can't go wrong with the quality of Cast & Clara Bell cast iron and the care and love for vintage cast iron that they clearly demonstrate.
I absolutely love my first vintage cast iron skillet. Phil has been so helpful in answering my MANY questions, and is always happy to help in any way that he can. It's very clear that he takes pride in his work and is also just a kind human being. I look forward to being a lifelong customer of Cast & Clara Bell.
I’ve made two purchases and both were extremely well packed with care. Both purchases were exactly as described and perfectly prepared for use. The Wapak egg skillet is by far my favorite daily user!
Amazing piece of cast iron. Amazing restoration work by the Seller. The pan looks better than it did 120 years ago when it was made!! So impressed by this piece of cookware. My kids will be getting this beauty when my wife and I are dead and gone.
Nicely seasoned cast iron, very good packaging, and a nice note in the box all come together for a great buyer experience!
Absolutely beautiful piece. Restored to perfection. This is my new daily pan, better than my modern lodge! I ordered 3 different pans, and the packaging was perfect. Everything arrived safe and sound. Antique/vintage iron makes all the difference!! It's worth the investment. These pans will forever be a part of my kitchen, never going back to modern pans.
If you're looking into purchasing, look no further and make the switch to these beautiful restored options.
Mint condition vintage cast iron. Every piece is a work of art.
In great condition but with a unique personality!
Great seller! Packed with care and exactly as
described. My new daily egg skillet.
It is very clean and perfectly smooth!
Exactly as I imagined it, the pan I got was 9” but light for cast iron. It had an incredible finish and I can already tell I’m going to be using it everyday. The restoration job is amazing, it is way nicer than any cast iron pan I’ve seen to date, and I grew up with my family grew up using cast iron. Thank you for the effort it took to get such a smooth finish, I’m sure it was a lot for how nice this is. What an incredible find!
