Sidney Holloware company was only around for a brief decade or so in the late 1800's before it was sold to Wagner Holloware in the same area of Ohio. Similar to the Erie brand, Sidney is a pre-cursor to Wagner's best days. Wagner made a line of "Sidney" arc pieces to give homage to its hometown of Sidney, and perhaps its acquired competitor.Β This simple and flat griddle is a true piece of American culinary history. These do not come around often.
