1800's Era Fully Restored Gate Marked cast iron

"Gate Marked iron" is a phrase used for the method of casting iron that was made prior to the 1900s.  All cast iron are made with gate marks, which refer to the area where the piece separates from the pattern when it is made. These are some of the oldest American cast iron pieces and are amazing for their age!
