BSR made some fantastic worker skillets that are amazing to sear and saute in. The newer pieces of cast iron made since mass manufacturing became the standard, are known to be heavier and more of a challenge to maneuver in the kitchen. However this mid century BSR square skillet, is one you have to have for your collection! The pan was found near Harrisburg PA and was in good condition for its age. We completely stripped and restored it as we do all of our pans, and you see the result. A beautiful skillet for you gourmet kitchen. Perfect for grilling cheese sandwiches, or bacon and eggs, this is a very versatile piece!
SPINS on glass so best for gas or electric coil tops.
