This is a super unique waffle iron made between 1871 and 1888, just a few years after the Civil War! The company W Resor and Co was based in Ohio and only made holloware for a brief period of time. Not much is known about the company but library archives in Ohio state the dates the foundry existed and that they focused mainly on stoves. Very cool to own, especially for the Buckeye in your life! Such a cool unique pattern being both a diamond type, but also in three parts and not four like most irons. Pretty cool iron to own and use!
