Priced to sell because of the reddish hue you see on the outside and inside of the skillet. Other than that this skillet is in perfect condition. It sits flat, and does not spin. The hue comes from someone using it in a high heat environment at some point in its life. It does not affect the skillets ability to cook, and the hue will fade with repeat use and seasoning.
For cast iron collectors and cookware fans, it's a well known fact that the quality of vintage cast iron is superior to new and modern cast iron. Wagner had a National line of skillets that did not include the Wagner insignia, but they absolutely held the quality and lightness of a Wagner skillet. And this one has both logos on it! It does not spin so it is perfect for any countertop. It has been fully restored, seasoned and is ready to use!
