We LOVE the Griswold line of Victor skillets for so many reasons! They handle well, are light as can be for a cast iron pan, and they have the Griswold touch for finish and design. THIS beauty is in fantastic shape with the exception that the skillet moves on glass. This skillet is absolutely gorgeous, it just came from a pattern that wasnt flat so its best for gas and electric coil and not for glass. It will work on glass, just may not heat as evenly.
Victor skillets were made as an off-brand skillet or "price fighter" in the 1920s, but for what it‘s worth, these pieces rival the block and slant logo skillets with ease. They are slightly more shallow than the block logo skillets. We have a few versions available, but this one in particular is fully marked. If you‘re a collector and haven‘t tried a Victor, now is the time and this is the one!
IMPORTANT: This #8 does not sit flat on a cook top so while it can be used on glass, its most recommended for Gas or Electric coil tops.
