Beautiful and hard to find saute skillet! Sidney Holloware company was only around for a brief decade or so in the late 1800's before it was sold to Wagner Holloware in the same area of Ohio. Similar to the Erie brand, Sidney is a pre-cursor to Wagner's best days. Wagner made a line of "Sidney" arc pieces to give homage to its hometown of Sidney, and perhaps its acquired competitor.  These do not come around often. The pitting is minimal and only on the outside in a three inch circle. The last 130 years has created a nice patina finish to it. Just a gorgeous skillet to own, AND it's a number 7!
