Prior to the name "Griswold" being fashioned on the most popular vintage cast iron cookware with the famous cross logo, they used the name Erie on all of their items. Some of the most sought after cast skillets were made by Griswold under the Erie name and were made prior to 1910. This version was made in the early 1900's, and features both the slant logo and the Erie brands.
This is a fantastic, light weight long griddle, perfect for grilled cheese or pancakes over the fire or in your gourmet kitchen. Its surface is slick and ready to use, being fully restored and seasoned three times with our oil blend. A fantastic piece to hang on your wall or display in your kitchen.
