Griswold fans will want this dutch oven in their collection, and for the home chef, this is a must have piece for soups, stews, and slow roasting. This Griswold #8 Large Block, Tite-top Dutch Oven, has a fantastic surface and looks fantastic for its age. This one spins as do most of the dutch ovens of that time which would make contact on glass varied. However it will not affect oven roasting in the least.
