Collection Completer!","description":"\u003cp\u003eGriswold made a few types and styles of \"trivets\" in their history.  They made Dutch oven trivets that were made for keeping meats off the bottom of the oven pot, and they also made trivets for the table top for service.  Then in the latter style, they made lots of cool designs like tree designs or sad iron designs.  This Old Lace version is marked and is in wonderful shape.  It was made in two sizes, the 1739 which is the larger and then this 1738 which is teh smaller.  The smaller is VERY hard to find so it's the first we've had for sale!  This is meant for the countertop or dinner table and is perfect to hold your warm Griswold holloware! It's one of the ones that were rarely made so grab this one before it's gone if you're a collector or aficionado! \u003cbr\u003eDISCLAIMER: We have prepared this piece to be ready to use or displayed in a collection.
