The tall bases are perfect for any cook surface especially gas! This piece is in wonderful shape, with one exception: at some point along the way the corner drip edge chipped. It's shown in all the pictures; however, for being turn of the century old, it's in wonderful shape. The handles are original and it's been fully restored\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis logo predates the stylized logo, which started to come around in the early 1920s.  So it is likely made right around 1900.  Wagner made a circular and a square waffle iron primarily for in-home use.
