This spectacularly beautiful Wagner #8 Dutch Oven has been restored and seasoned three times with our custom oil blend Its a wonderful show piece and a fantastic tool for your savory soups and chili's. This dutch comes with the matching lid, AND most importantly a matching trivet for keeping meats raised above the heat surface while roasting and braising. There is a lot of discussion around the "flatness" of holloware pieces, because so many of them were not made with concern for flatness back in the early 1900's. So it's a relatively new concern, but there is NO concern for this here. This one is flat and would work on all cook surfaces. However we suspect that most of its use will be on a campfire or in your oven!
