Doing some research we found that these were made by Schreiber \u0026amp; Conchar, MFG in the 1890s. This is a really cool piece to have and use in your kitchen or for the collector that likes unique waffle irons from small foundries.  Schreiber and Conchar were active in Dubuque, Iowa, in the late 1890s. They were known for their sad irons and not for their waffle irons and there are not many of these around! This 8.9 size iron has an acorn hinge and restored handles. It's a beautiful waffle iron to own and slightly unusual as the the logo on the pattern is upside down. Traditionally the logos face the handle of the paddle and not the opposite direction. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eYou'll love adding this one to your collection or as a weekend waffle enthusiast!
